Event Registration

How do I register?
From the front page of the website, choose the (light blue) Events and Registration tab for your desired event. Choose the desired date and location by clicking on the link “Click here for more information.” Read through the text and follow to the bottom of the page to the Registration section. All registrants must pay the $50 registration deposit. The balance of the packages is due about 60 days prior to the event. You may choose to pay the $50 registration fee or opt to pay the full balance.

Can I sit with my friends?
Yes, you can! Please be sure to include the full name (first and last) of your desired seatmates in the Reservation Request section of the registration form. It is also helpful if seatmates and roommates register at the same time.

How much space do I get to scrap?
You will share a 6-foot or 8-foot banquet table. Individual spaces will be at least 3’ x 3’ and could be 3’ x 4’. Each event location has a unique inventory of tables. It is possible that there could be a mix of 6-ft. and 8-ft. tables at the same event. We utilize the table inventory at the event location first to avoid renting tables that add to increased package prices.

What should I pack?
We ask that scrappers be reasonable with the amount of supplies brought into the scrapping room. If you have a sleeping room, excess supplies can be store there. We are held to the fire codes at the hotels and need to keep an appropriate aisleway open in case of an emergency. What if I am already registered and a friend wants to join me at the event, seated at my table?
When your friend registers, she should be sure to note the full name of any desired seatmates in the Reservation Request section of the registration form.

Can I bring my Cricut, light, laptop, etc.
The demand for outlets are soared with new technology! Most of the present event locations do not offer an outlet for each attendee. Please include your request to be seated near an outlet in the Comments Section of the Registration form. We’ll do our best. At a minimum, there will be a few “community outlets” available, meaning attendees will have to share usage.

Will there be scrapbooking classes offered at the event?
Yes! We typically offer 8-16 classes at a weekend event. Classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays, but not on Sundays.

How do I register for classes?
The completed class schedule is posted on the website about 60 days prior to the event. You may see classes on the schedule sooner than that, but the schedule will not be complete. When the class schedule is complete, all registered attendees will receive an email announcement that the class schedule is complete and ready for registration.

Can I buy supplies at the event?
Yes! We usually have 5-10 vendors present at any weekend event with a variety of scrapbooking products and services. We have a large number of requests for vendor space for each event.

Can I shop with the vendors, even if I am not registered?
Yes! Please check in at the registration desk upon arrival to tell us that you are shopping.

Can my husband, children or friends visit me at the event?
Yes! They should check in at the registration table to identify themselves. We’ll notify you that you have visitors. Children are not allowed in the cropping room for extended visits.

Will you send a reminder when the package balances are due?
Yes, we send an email reminder about 60 days prior to the event when the package balances are due.

I have not received my confirmation email?
Event registrations are usually processed within a few days. If you have not received an email confirmation within a week of registering, please check your junk folder. Most times, the cause of this is a spam filter.

How can I ensure that I will get event updates?
Please be sure to include info@crop(removethisbeforemailing)classix.com to your address book. Be sure to remove the (removethisbeforemailing) tag that helps us control spam.
