Paper in Motion Techniques

Bio: As president of Crop Classix, mother to two beautiful daughters, ages 9 and 12 and wife to a traveling businessman, Mindy is a busy woman. But, never too busy to scrapbook! For Mindy, scrapbooking is the perfect marriage of her lifelong passion for journaling and precious photos. She has been scrapping for more than 10 years after being introduced to the craft while visiting a friend in Mississippi who happened to be a consultant. She prefers a simple style and has hosted many classes at her home and community events.
Class Description: This workshop is fast paced! Create a 12 x 12 double page layout using foil and shimmer papers that incorporate the following totally interactive "Paper-in-Motion" techniques: 1. A half-page slider that glides over the page protector revealing hidden photos. 2. A foil embossed coaster journal tag sliding on a ribbon cable. 3. Die cut four collectively defining windows in an elaborately folded booklet to highlight additional photos, journaling and dimensional sticker and chipboard embellishments. 4. A surprise pop-up creating an additional 6 x 6 layout surface.
Items to Bring to Class: Paper trimmer, adhesive , and scissors. Bring along a Large circle hole punch and glue dots if you have them.
Items supplied by Teacher: All materials and tools needed to create layouts.
